Booking can be done either through Instagram or via my contact/booking form on the website. Please feel free to share your photography preferences, how far along you are in your pregnancy, and together, we will find a date and time.
In connection with the booking, a non-refundable booking fee of 1000 DKK is paid.
You will receive a booking invoice via email, which should be paid through a bank transfer within 48 hours. Your booking is only considered final once the fee is paid. The booking fee will be deducted from the final price.
2 days before your session, you will receive an invoice for the remaining amount of your photo session, which must be paid no later than on the session day via bank transfer.
If you wish to upgrade your package, purchase additional prints, or acquire extra digital files beyond what is included in your booked package, these can be ordered when the customer gains access to their personal viewing gallery.
For any additional purchases or upgrades, an invoice for the outstanding amount will be sent, which must be paid before activating the download and print order.
In case of non-payment, a reminder will be issued. If this is ignored, a reminder fee of 100 DKK will be added. If payment is still not received, the invoice will be forwarded to a debt collection agency, and all images and print products will be withheld until payment is made.
If you are running late for your photography session, please notify the photographer in writing as soon as possible. If your delay exceeds 15 minutes, the additional time will be deducted from the scheduled photography time. If you are more than 30 minutes late, the session will be considered canceled, and you will be charged for a new photography session and a new date.
Photography at locations in Copenhagen and the Greater Copenhagen area is included in the photography price. If a location outside of this area is desired, such as Solgårdsparken, Køge Strand, Boserup Skov Roskilde, or similar, a transportation fee of 4.5 DKK per driven kilometer (calculated via Google Maps) will be added from the company's address in Ballerup.
I do not accept bookings for photography sessions on Fyn or in Jylland (Funen or Jutland), but you are more than welcome to come to Copenhagen to have your session held in the beautiful surroundings here.
In case of cancellation or rescheduling less than 48 hours before your scheduled photography session, the remaining amount for the photography will be invoiced, regardless of whether you wish to book a new appointment or not.
If you wish to book a new appointment within 48 hours of your officially scheduled photography session, you will need to pay for an entirely new photography session.
If you want to modify or cancel your scheduled photography session, you can do so at no additional cost, provided that you notify us more than 7 days before the originally scheduled photography date.
If there are less than 7 days but more than 48 hours left until your scheduled photography session, you can reschedule your appointment by paying a new booking fee.
In case of cancellation by the photographer's side, the booking fee will be refunded unless you choose to immediately reschedule your photography session to a new date, in which case the booking fee will be transferred to the new scheduled date.
When participating in a photography session with your partner, friend, or others, it is strictly prohibited to take your own photos or videos using devices such as phones or cameras. If there is a desire for backstage photos or videos, this must be arranged with the photographer in advance. Violation of this rule will result in a fee of 1250 DKK being charged.
In case of direct unacceptable handling of my dresses resulting in damage, a repair fee may be imposed, depending on the extent of the damage. You will be notified of this within 24 hours after the photography session.
Within 1 week after your session, you will receive a personal online gallery with the best unedited images from the day. From this gallery, you select the images included in your package. Your selected images will then be professionally edited and delivered within 2–3 weeks after your selection.
Images are delivered in web resolution (2048px on the longest side), suitable for social media and digital use.
For print orders, they will be ready for pickup approximately 4-6 weeks after the order is placed. No digital files or prints will be provided until payment is received.
When you receive your selection gallery, there will be a watermark over the images. It is not allowed to save/use/forward these watermarked images. If this is violated, an invoice of 500 DKK per image will be sent.
Unedited images are not delivered and cannot be purchased. Your gallery will be stored for 12 months, after which it will be deleted.
It is possible to purchase gift cards, with a minimum order amount of 450 DKK. The gift card can either be picked up in Ballerup or sent by mail (Shipping fee 50 DKK - Track & Trace).
All gift cards are valid from the date of issue and for 1 year thereafter. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash. If the full amount is not used on the gift card, the remaining balance can be converted into additional digital material from the session. When booking with a gift card, it's important to be aware of whether your gift card covers an entire photography session or is simply a contribution towards one.
The same payment and cancellation rules apply as for bookings made without a gift card.
You have the option to cancel your booking if the booking fee has not yet been paid. Once the booking is confirmed, and the booking fee is paid, you can no longer cancel the booking.
The right of withdrawal for the photography session expires as soon as the photography session has commenced.
The right of withdrawal for the delivered digital files expires as soon as the watermark has been removed, and it has been possible to download the files.
When the photos have been delivered and downloaded, the task is considered completed.
You waive your 14-day right of withdrawal the moment you place your order for physical products. Your order has no financial value to others, so we cannot accept responsibility for a cancellation since it is a personally designed product.
We offer a 2-year warranty in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act on our physical products, such as prints. The warranty covers defects in material or craftsmanship. Depending on the specific situation, we may choose to repair the item, replace it with a new one, refund the money, or provide a price reduction. Please note that the warranty does not cover errors or damages resulting from incorrect handling of the product. You must make a complaint within a reasonable time after discovering the defect or error. By Louise Jessen will cover reasonable return costs.
There is no warranty on digital products, and By Louise Jessen cannot be held responsible for the fact that digital products may appear differently on other computers and devices.
As the photographer, I own the copyright to all images. This means I have the authority to use the images on my website, social media, and in competitions. However, I always follow a written agreement regarding the use of my clients' images and respect their wishes not to publish them. If you have given consent for the use of your images on social media and the website when purchasing a session, you can withdraw this consent at any time.
In connection with the delivery of your images, as a consumer, you will receive the usage rights to the finished images. You may therefore use the images for private use. It is not allowed to use the images for self-promotion without a written agreement with By Louise Jessen, nor to forward the images to a third party/company for use on their social media and marketing. Additionally, it is strictly prohibited to edit, crop, or manipulate the purchased images (including Instagram filters, etc.). Violation of this will result in an invoice of 4000 DKK, and the image(s) will still need to be removed.
It is strictly forbidden to steal images from By Louise Jessen's Instagram, Facebook, and website for use elsewhere. If this occurs, the person/company will be invoiced for unauthorized use. By Louise Jessen cannot be held responsible if companies and individuals steal images from social media and the website, but the matter will certainly be addressed, and attempts will be made to have them removed.
